Although Mariah Carey didn't quite kick off the new year as flawlessly as she had previously anticipated, the singer is already looking to move on from what fans are referring to as a "trainwreck of a performance."
Over the course of the past week and a half, Carey has already addressed the situation several times. After claiming that her performance was deliberately sabotaged, she reportedly let go of some of her staff and went on to live life without caring what her fans and her ex-husband were saying about her. However, it appears as though some of her fans (or haters) aren't ready to let Carey off the hook just yet. According to TMZ, someone has recently vandalized the singer's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in California.
While this act is not totally uncommon, with Donald Trump's star reportedly being vandalized a plethora of times throughout his presidential campaign, this time the person behind the defamation took a unique approach.
As exemplified in the photo below, Carey's star has been vandalized to feature a question mark next to her name, implying that someone clearly has some questions regarding the singer they need to sort out. Interesting move, to say the least.
According to the report, the star costs $1,500 to be restored and the Hollywood Historic Trust has already cleaned up her star. There currently is no suspect and police are investigating the matter.
Take a look at Mariah Carey's amended star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the post below.
