Opera singer Neal E. Boyd is reportedly in serious condition after being involved in a car crash earlier this morning (Jan. 22).

According to TMZ, the America's Got Talent winner ran off the road at around 8:45 this morning, crashing into a tree with such force that his car went flying and hit another tree. The singer was driving in Scott County, Missouri, when the horrific crash took place.

At the time of the crash, the singer reportedly wasn't wearing his seatbelt, nor was he alone in the car.

His 62-year-old mother is said to have been in the car with him, and both are reportedly in serious condition at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

We're keeping both Boyd and his mother in our thoughts and prayers. More on this story as it develops.
