As reported, the Cash Money boss and the Atlanta mainstay have been working on music together in the studio recently. And, as it turns out, Birdman is really, really pleased with how their collaboration is going so far.
During a session, Birdman recently went as far as to compare Thugger to none other than Michael Jackson and Prince, two of the most influential musicians of all time. He took to Instagram to tease their new music and let fans know exactly how he feels about working with the likes of Young Thug again.
During the clip, the two are in the studio previewing a teaser of their new music and Birdman has only two things to say about how it's turning out so far, simply stating, "Michael Jackson, Prince," while pointing at Young Thug.
While the praise is surely appreciated, some fans are expressing that comparing Young Thug to the two late legends is a bit much.
While the two are definitely up to something, we'll have to wait and see if it is as legendary as Birdman is leading us to believe.
