Updated story, January 30, 2017:
The rapper decided to get one more final jab in before deleting every post shading the Barbadian singer and ultimately giving up, taking things to a new level by way of posting a screenshot revealing RiRi's real phone number.
Naturally, the internet gasped that Banks took it there. But of course, the singer's past social media feuds have proven that her pettiness knows no bounds. RiRi quickly proved that two can play at this game, epically changing her avatar on Twitter to a screenshot of Banks's phone number and a text from the rapper she didn't respond to. Rihanna also proved that she didn't have Banks's number previously saved in her phone's contact list and couldn't be any less unbothered. That had to hurt.
Considering that the comments section on Banks's Instagram remains overwhelmingly full of emojis from Rihanna's Navy, namely the anchor emoji and the chicken emoji, she definitely lost this round and then some.
However, has she actually learned that if you come for Rihanna, you'll more than likely take a massive L? We'll have to wait and see if this escalates any further. but for now, it appears as though this beef won't last into the week ahead.
Original story below:
Taking to Instagram earlier today (Jan. 29) Banks, who has been an ongoing and vocal supporter of President Trump, chose to react, along with countless celebrities, to the new executive order banning people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States.
During her lengthy rant, which she split up into multiple posts, Banks went hard for RiRi, even going as far as to point out how the Barbadian singer isn't an American citizen and therefore shouldn't even speak on the matter.
"As far as Rihanna (who isn't a citizen, and can't vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir the public, you lot really REALLY need to shut up and sit down," Banks wrote. "Stop chastising the president. It's stupid and pathetic to watch. All of these confused people confuse other confused people. Hoping the president fails is like getting on an airplane and hoping the pilot crashes."
Banks's decision to single out Rihanna came after RiRi took to Instagram and Twitter to discuss Trump's recent executive order and the protests that immediately ensued. RiRi also clapped back at Banks using a series of subliminal hashtags, captioning a self-portrait, "The face you make when you a immigrant," referring to Bank's recent alleged sacrificing of live chickens. Her caption used various hashtags, such as #stayawayfromthechickens and #iheartnuggets, so naturally, Banks decided to really dig in and go as hard for Rihanna as she could, especially considering RiRi made time for her today.
As a result of Banks's unrelenting trolling and commentary, Rihanna's Navy is commenting on her posts using the chicken emoji, as many are saying her decision to single out Rihanna was not her wisest to date.
Take a deep breath, brace yourself and see all of the madness, as well as reactions to the fresh celebrity beef, in the posts below.
