To much surprise, the days following the release of Remy Ma’s brutal “shETHER” diss record fired at Nicki Minaj saw lots of folks jumping ship from the Barbz boat to the Remy Mafia. But despite how many fickle fans went adrift from the “Black Barbies” rapper, one person she can undoubtedly count on is Compton rapper Game.
The West Coast flagbearer, who also assisted her “Pills and Potions” visuals, made his first move by calling out Nicki’s ex-boyfriend and MMG rap star Meek Mill for his petty play against her via social media. Now that he’s rigged up a caption-worth of bars against Meek, Game appears to be moving in even closer on Nicki in the form of a beautiful bouquet of red roses.
TMZ ran into Game on Tuesday (Feb. 28) with flowers in tow as a reporter asked his thoughts on Remy’s “shETHER” track. Before he was able to finish the question, however, Game immediately took to Nicki’s defense with frank warning.
“If you about to say something disrespectful about Nicki Minaj, I’m gonna f**k you up,” he responded. Despite the reporter insisting that he wouldn’t dare go in that direction, Game made sure to reinforce the message anyway.
“If you say something disrespectful about Nicki, I’m taking the camera, the beanie, the glasses — damn, those are some dope shoes — the Yeezys. I’m taking everything.”
Though he appeared to be in a rather jovial mood, the rap star ignored the rest of the questioning and, instead, handed the reporter the roses intended Nicki. “Put the camera on them — them is for Nicki,” Game informed before sending the reporter off with the help of his entourage. Nevertheless, this gesture doesn’t come as the first one for the Queens femcee. To show everyone else just how Team Nicki he is, Game recently plucked everyone off of his follow list on Instagram except for Nicki.
Only time (or Nicki herself) will tell whether or not those shots he’s shooting will make it through the hoop. Check out his latest token of affection in the video below.
