John Legend Approves of Drake's Impersonation of Him

Hear what he had to say about Drizzy's recent antics.

Earlier this week, Drake reminded fans that he's just as nice on the mic with the R&B jams as he is with his signature rapping style.

With his More Life playlist slated to drop this weekend (finally!), the 6 God will have plenty to flex about, but in the meantime, he chose to show off just how on point his vocal talents are by way of showing some love to none other than John Legend.

In addition to absolutely nailing his cover of Legend's classic tune "Ordinary People" much to the delight of those in attendance during his Boy Meets World tour, he also reflected how the singer has influenced his career.

It didn't take long for the musical nod to find its way across Legend's desk himself, and during a brief chat while arriving at LAX, he admitted that not only did he get wind of Drizzy's rendition but was also impressed by it.

"It was good," Legend reiterated, laughing when the reporter asked him if he thought Drake needs any improvement.

Take a look at John Legend supporting Drake's impression of him in the clip below.

And revisit Drake showing the R&B singer some love during his recent tour stop in the concert footage below.
