With an acclaimed seat on the MMG label roster, a mastery for battle rap, his own Dreamchasers hip-hop imprint and one of the most public feuds to ever make hip-hop’s center stage, there’s plenty to help Meek Mill stand out from the rest of the crowd in his own unique way.
A fan who happened to run into him, however, apparently wasn’t aware of that, though.
In a clip with Meek and the unnamed woman, he was just as puzzled as anyone with eyesight would be at the fan’s identification of him as a fellow rap star T-Pain. After asking the fan who “they” claimed he was, her response was everything but accurate.
“They said you were T-Pain,” the woman said with a smile.
“So I’m T-Pain, right?,” he reiterates. “You really think I’m T-Pain?”
The last time both rap stars crossed the same path, let alone were in the same room, was on the 2012 “Bag of Money” single from the MMG-collaborative Self Made Vol. 2 album. While the fan still seemed at least halfway sure that she was looking at rap’s hitmaking Auto-Tuner and not the Dreamchasers top dog, Meek calmly bypassed the mix-up anyway.
Find out if you can see his T-Pain resemblance in the video below.
