Kendrick Lamar Was Hiding His Album Title in Plain Sight...for a Whole Week

Were you paying attention?

Kendrick Lamar left a clue in his latest music video for his track "Humble," and frankly, it has us feeling a little stupid.

Now that he has announced the name and official tracklist of his forthcoming albumDAMN., it turns out he also stealthily revealed the title over a week ago, sneakily weaving the title into his new visual. We'll admit it, we totally missed this little (major) detail.

During the visual, the Compton rapper can be seen wearing a t-shirt that boldly has the name of his fourth studio album adorned across the front.

While the unique filming treatment makes it a little hard to catch at first glimpse, during the scene where Lamar is on a bicycle, he's wearing a white t-shirt with the title of his album emblazoned right across his chest.

Considering how that detail was so carefully included in his project, we wonder what other visuals clues the rapper left for us to discover — late pass or not. Hopefully we'll find out in a couple days, when DAMN. arrives on Friday (April 14).

Take a look at Kendrick Lamar letting us in on the name of his album a week before he confirmed it below.
