Tank Performed at D.C.'s Black LGBT Pride and Now The Internet Is at War

Everyone seems to have questions...

Published May 29, 2017

When a shirtless R&B icon like Tank hits the stage to perform a bedroom banger like “F**kin With Me,” the chance you’ll find any complaints about the performance is slim to none.

Unless, for some people apparently, he’s crooning it out at the D.C. Black Pride event.

Black Pride crowdgoers, with several individuals from the front of the crowd quite visibly enjoying the performance. When the internet caught wind of the topless stage set, however, 140-character debates started flying.

From Tank’s sexuality, to his alleged cash come-up behind the performance to the necessary defense of artists’ presence at events like Black Pride, here’s how people are taking in a Tank presence for the LGBT celebration.
