Chris Brown’s rise to Hollywood’s exclusive A-list as a man of multiple gifts, including singing, songwriting and dancing, has landed him beside the most legendary of musical talents.
His collaboration roster is lengthy, and at 28 years old, he’s matched the greatness of every fellow artist he’s ever shared a stage or recording studio with. But there’s still one person missing from that list: Beyoncé.
Sitting down with Complex’s Nadeska Alexis, Breezy shared that he’d love to join forces with Queen Bey for nothing else but the culture. The megastar songstress is the only person on his dream collaboration list that he hasn’t received the opportunity to work with just yet, but when he does, we can certainly expect it to be something legendary.
“At this point, it’s all about trying to do some legendary s**t, you know so, the top female performer is Beyoncé,” he answered. “So for me, that would be epic if we did some dope dance s**t — just for the culture. And it has nothing to do with nothing, it’s just for the culture.”
Breezy, who is highly lauded for his dance gift, even shared his thoughts on a dance-off between him and the Lemonade artist. As for who would take the dance crown home, he knows “she’s going to represent and do her thing” and so will he. After all, two dope artists with dope dance skills, and above all a sense of competition, would simply amount to more dopeness.
Let him explain in the video below.
