As for his original tattoo of the 58-year-old R&B soulstress, however, he apparently had much bigger plans for not one, but two portraits of her face sketched across his ribcage.
In a new photo from the Belgian tattoo artist behind the inked masterpiece, Inal Bersekov, the larger-than-life addition to Drake’s tattoo is pictured with a new face of the Diamond Life icon.
“More life. More tattoos,” Bersekov captioned the photo. “Was honored to continue this piece based on @sade started by an amazing artist @niki23gtr on @champagnepapi. Excited to continue.”
Both portraits of Sade are accompanied by intricate shading and a tranquil ocean water and palm tree setting. The debut of the first unexpanded tattoo of the music legend arrived in March — the same time as his surprise photo opp with her that flipped the internet upside down. The bigger hope for Drake fans now is that he’ll finally land that collaboration with her that we’re certain he would take wholehearted pleasure in.
