50 Cent Follows Up With a Message (and FYI) for Jay-Z...

He's apparently joining Future.

Published July 6, 2017

In natural 50 Cent social media testimony form, the Queens, New York, bred rap and showbiz mogul isn’t through with his review of Jay-Z’s 4:44 album just yet.

After checking it off as an “OK” project, Fif dubbed it “golf course music” due to Jay’s age in the hip-hop game and the pensive subject matter of all 10 tracks from the project. The Power executive producer also tossed a quick shout-out to Future in the process, who receives a subtle mention on the album’s lead track, “Kill Jay Z.” Now that he’s given the album a chance to sink in, he’s also following up on Fewtch’s response to Jay’s clever lyricism as well.

  1. Insisting that Jay 'can’t be the best rapper at 47,' Fif shared his critique of ‘4:44’ and told Jay to leave the new generational rappers alone
  2. Days prior, Future posted a reminder of his relationship with his son, alluding to Jay’s 'in the Future, other n**gas playin’ football with your son' line

  3. And, of course, a memo that the money’s still calling, despite Jay’s distaste of the infamous Instagram photo sensation
  4. Fif must have felt it was only right to second Fewtch’s response with a history lesson of his own, informing where (and who) the origins of the 'money-calling' phenomenon are from
