And some fans want him to leave Tupac out of it.

Instagram just isn’t what it used to be these days, and neither is hip-hop.

Whether you believe that to be a good or bad thing, Tennessee rap star and CMG signee Blac Youngsta has sent us a particularly unusual reminder of that after his latest and boldest visual statement.

What seems to be the most mind-boggling and divisive about the photo he posted to Instagram, if you let his fans tell it, is his reference to legendary hip-hop icon Tupac. And while some fans have stood in his defense, others are standing in shameful disappointment of the 26-year-old rap star.

  1. The chilling photo of a crucified Blac Youngsta nailed to a cross with Pac’s 'Hail Mary' line and 'R.I.P. TUPAC' in the caption made its way to his Instagram on Monday (July 10)

HAIL MARY COME WITH ME 🙏🏾 R.I.P TUPAC #HEAVYCAMP

  2. Thereafter, some concerned fans made their way to the Internet to express their distaste with the flick, which is rumored to be his next album cover
  3. Others, however, pointed to hip-hop legends, like Nas and Pac himself, who dared to pull such a striking visual move
