Here's How Blue Ivy Is Handling Being a Big Sister

Is she welcoming the twins with open arms?

After the world met Sir and Rumi Carter last week, fans are finally getting more details about what the Carter family’s home life is like with its two new additions. And thanks to Ms. Tina Knowles Lawson, we’ve now learned how Blue Ivy is adapting to her new role as big sister.

There’s no surprise here that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 5-year-old daughter is already shaping up to be the best sibling ever. “She’s very proud and very excited,” Momma Tina told Entertainment Tonight during an interview at the 19th Annual DesignCare event. “She’s a good big sister, she really is.” Ms. Tina’s husband, Richard Lawson, who attended the event with her, also chimed in, saying that Blue Ivy “really cares for them a lot.” As for how the whole family is getting along with their growing family, she said Beyoncé, Jay, and Blue are all “very excited.” “It’s a wonderful experience,” she added.

Sir and Rumi are just one month old and they have already become internet sensations. Their debut photo with Bey on Instagram has a record nine million likes. It is now the second most-liked photo on Instagram, just under the singer’s pregnancy pic, which earned more than 11 million likes.

The only thing left for Beyoncé to do is drop a photo of Blue, Sir and Rumi together. We’ll wait.
