Drake's Still Got His Money Phone, And Jokes

Jay-Z isn't making him put it away, either.

Jay-Z’s new 4:44 album has a lot of game for younger rappers and great stories for his contemporaries.

One of the most famous shots he took at the more youthful generation of rappers was when he raps, “Y’all on the ‘gram holdin’ money to your ear / There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here," on "The Story Of O.J."

Well, Future already kind of had a subliminal response, and now, Drake’s making it clear that he’s not putting his “money phone” away.

Captured by the Shaderoom, the Toronto native jokingly shows himself in a selfie video holding stacks of money up to his ear and saying, "What they say? Don't put money to your ear? Oh, I didn't hear that."

We know the whole thing was lighthearted because Drizzy was actually excited to hear Hov’s newest LP. The night it dropped, he reportedly requested that the Baltimore restaurant he was eating at play it over the speakers.

Did Hov dead the money phone or bring more light to it? Let us know in the comment section and watch Drake bring out his own money phones below.
