Thanks to Cardi B's mega single “Bodak Yellow,” the Bronx native is taking the industry by storm. In addition to accumulating a huge, national fanbase, Cardi is also grabbing the attention of her fellow rappers. And the latest artist to show the rookie love is Iggy Azalea. The “Fancy” rapper reached out to Cardi on Twitter, congratulating her on her current success.

“Really wanted to come online and say congratulations to @iamcardib. So awesome to see,” Iggy tweeted. Cardi quickly responded, thanking her for the words of encouragement. “Thank you so much Gal… Funny how I was listening to New B***h 2 days ago,” she replied with a set of emoji heart eyes. And the conversation continued, with another comment from Iggy. “Ayyyyeeeee. well I’m listening to you every time I turn on the radio. Hope it goes number 1, you deserve it,” she added.

Cardi is well on her way to the top. It was recently reported that “Bodak Yellow” is the highest-charting hit for a woman MC on the Billboard Hot 100 since Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.” Cardi’s track is also maintaining its run on iTunes’ top singles. In addition to the numbers, the former Love & Hip Hop star has grabbed the attention of major celebrities, including Kevin Hart, Ludacris, Missy Elliott, DJ Khaled and many more.
