As the deadly tropical storm dubbed Hurricane Harvey continues to wreak havoc on Houston, the best idea for those looking to help is to gather information from Houston residents via social media and reputable media outlets.
An even better idea might be donating clothes, food, water and other resources that Houstonians are currently lacking. As urged by comedy star Kevin Hart in his Hurricane Harvey Relief Challenge, monetary donations to aid the city in this time of distress is among the best sources of support.
But after Bow Wow sent his casual signal of support to the city, someone probably should have mentioned some of these options to him before the Internet got a chance to. He posted a hand signal to represent horns, a universal gesture known to Texas, and it seems that Bow’s heart was certainly in the right place. But his hand apparently wasn’t.
And considering the impact that Hurricane Harvey has had on the nation’s fourth largest city, the Internet has pushed a thumbs down on the Bow’s Houston hand-off.
