Remy Ma hasn’t been shy about the fact that she’s a huge fan of Cardi B. From shouting her out in interviews to bringing the “Bodak Yellow” femcee out at Summer Jam, it’s clear that Cardi’s landed Remy’s stamp of approval.
In a recent chat with KendallKyndoll on VH1’s Facebook Live, Remy revealed that she and Cardi plan to make music together. Dishing on the potential collab, Remy explained, “Yes, we actually were talking about it last night… She grabbed me and said ‘We need to do a song together, I’m not playing!’
While Remy may be a part of the #BardiGang now, she does admit that she wasn’t always so impressed. “When I first heard her-in this business you see people come in and take this rap thing as a joke, people think ‘oh because I got a fat a** and a pretty face I’m gonna be a rapper… I just assumed that that’s what it was with her, I actually told her this. And then I saw one day, she was about 17 in high school and she was performing in a talent show in school and it just changed everything…”
If Remy Ma and Cardi B.’s future collab is anything like the energy they shared together onstage together at Summer Jam then we’re all in for a huge treat.
