While Bronx rapstress Cardi B should be riding high off of her single, “Bodak Yellow” possibly hitting number number one next week, she’s revealed that she was recently a victim of police brutality in her hometown.

The former Love & Hip Hop star took to Twitter detailing her experience being placed in a chokehold by one of New York’s Finest. In a post that has now been deleted, Cardi wrote, “can’t believe this cop put me on a chock hole [sic] just now s***t is crazy these NY cops don’t know how to do they job F**K 12.” Not stopping there, she quickly confirmed one fan’s question surrounding the race of the offending officer. Asked if he was white, Cardi responded, “YEUP HE WAS.”

What's the tea #CardiB? 👀
