Future Blasted For Promoting His Las Vegas Concert Hours After Massacre

"Future trying to promote his Vegas show, today of all days smh."

Future has landed in the hot seat on social media for essentially having awful judgment and terrible timing. Fans blasted the rapper on Twitter after he was caught promoting his show in Las Vegas, only hours after news of the massacre broke.

The “Mask Off” rapper took to Twitter earlier this morning to advertise his Oct. 28 Halloween weekend show, “Drai’s Horror Story.” The only caption the rapper wrote with the flyer was the date of the show.

Some of his followers immediately took offense to the timeliness of the post, considering how news of the Las Vegas shooting was trending on Twitter at the time.

For those who have not been keeping up with the news, a gunman, now identified as Stephen Paddock, fired shots into a crowd of concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest festival on Oct 1. More than 50 people were reported dead at the scene, while an estimated 200 were injured, according to reports. A number of celebs, including Rihanna, The Weeknd and Mariah Carey, offered their condolences and prayers following the tragic event.

To give Future the benefit of the doubt, his tweet may have been scheduled to post regardless of the circumstances. Nevertheless, a number of people have strong opinions about it.
