Tyrese Has Some Thoughts About XXXTENTACION...

Well, does he have a point?

Published October 2, 2017

If you haven’t by now, we warn that you brace yourself before looking at Florida teen rapper XXXTENTACION’s new ghostly makeover, let alone listening to his disturbing response to heinous domestic abuse allegations of his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

However, if you are caught up to speed, vocalist and film star Tyrese would now like to share what he deems an important lesson on drug use in light of XXX’s bizarre new look.

In a now-deleted post, Tyrese took his message to Instagram with a Photoshopped flick of the 19-year-old’s selfie. XXX’s entire face is eerily distorted in the photo, from bloodshot red eyes to his nose that’s blurred to an unidentifiable proportion. While the photo’s creepy editing is obvious, his silvery-gray dreadlocks, shaved eyebrows and tattoo of a purple tree centered on his forehead (which is missing in Tyrese’s photo) are still considerably chilling.

“When you look in the mirror after drinking and smoking and popping every pill they tell you to pop from these hip-hop songs,” the Fast and Furious silver screen star wrote in his caption. “My whole life I’ve proudly always said #NoToDrugs.”

His thoughts are somewhat shady — yes — but, it’s no secret that Tyrese hasn’t been a fan of the emerging hip-hop generation for quite some time. Philly’s hip-hop rock star Lil Uzi Vert, another nonconformist millennial artist with his fair share of controversies, has also landed a spot on Tyrese’s Instagram for his beatnik physical expression as well.

Well, we know who had better stay away from next year’s Coachella music festival, then.
