Torey Lanez's legal troubles nearly caught up with him after being pulled over by authorities during a traffic stop. But luckily, the R&B crooner is home free after a very close brush with the law.
Early Thursday morning (Oct. 5), the Toronto native took to Snapchat to document why he was late to a mandatory probation meeting in hopes of his probation officer sparing him some sympathy. According to the "LUV" singer, he was unnecessarily pulled over by police officers while on his way to adhere with the judge's orders. "Miss probation officer, I'm getting stopped right now," he began his appeal. "I'm trying to make it on time but I'm getting stopped. So, you know. Don't try to blaze me."
Torey grew noticeably frustrated after the officer called for a back up car, prolonging the reviewing of his credentials. "All my sh*t legit," he continued. "Leave me the f*ck alone."
Back in April, the singer was charged with possession of a concealed firearm and marijuana after being pulled over by police in Broward County, Florida. In addition to the weapon and drug allegations, he was also charged with failure to register a motor vehicle, driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to show proof of liability insurance.
