Harlem’s hip-hop Ice Princess Azealia Banks doesn’t get tired of the beef, at least not when it comes to the seemingly everlasting gripe she has with Bronx’s breakout rap star Cardi B.
After discrediting her femcee skills and reducing her down to a Nicki Minaj-mock up, Azealia is using the “Bodak Yellow” femcee’s recent collaboration with the Young Money raptress as ammo for even more shots fired.
Nicki and Cardi showed up for their first-ever femcee collaboration and silenced longstanding rumors of their low-key “beef" on Migos’s “Motor Sport.” While the Bardi Gang and Barbz Army celebrated their lyrical handshake on wax, Azealia scoffed at what she’s calling a docile sheep move from Cardi.
“Wow so, you’re featuring on a song in which you’re simultaneously getting dissed…,” she wrote on her Snapchat. “Damn, shorty is really a crumb.”
Azealia apparently put Cardi in her crosshairs after her initial diss, where she accused her of being Black only upon cultural convenience and threw jabs at Charlamagne Tha God for supporting the Afro-Latina while “letting White men at Atlantic buy [him] into hating their own [Black] women.” Azealia stirred the pot deeper by naming her alleged “Bodak Yellow” ghostwriter a few days later.
The Ice Princess has lightened up on Nicki, however, apologizing to her via Instagram DM for past transgressions. She, unfortunately, isn’t planning to drop any weapons in her war of words with Cardi, though.
