Janet Jackson Says She Is A ‘Stronger Woman’ Following Her Split From Wissam Al Mana

The music icon reportedly felt like a ‘prisoner’ over the course of her marriage.

From Janet Jackson’s reemergence on social media to rebooting her ‘State of the World’ tour, the music legend’s post marriage glow up has been amazing to watch.

According to PageSix.com, Jackson’s  glow up can be attributed the fact that she’s a “stronger woman” following her divorce. The singer is also said to be “very happy with her show. It’s who she is. She’s herself again, owning the stage.”

Janet Jackson’s newfound sense of self comes months after reports claimed that she allegedly felt, “like a prisoner” over the course of her brief marriage to the Qatari business magnate. She allegedly “grew isolated from her friends and family,” and eventually “put her foot down” in an attempt to “get her life back.”

Janet Jackson is currently on the road as part of her State of the World tour. During her Nov 15 stop at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, she reportedly broke into tears while singing “What About,” a song that details domestic violence.
