Lil Kim’s trendsetting rap career has taken her to places far beyond the Big Apple that she’d never imagine, from Grammy wins to platinum plaques to becoming global hip-hop royalty.
But no matter where Kimmy goes, there’s one traditional adage of her origins that will forever remain true: you can take the Queen Bee out of New York, but you’ll never take New York out of the Queen Bee. Unfortunately, she had to promptly remind an unruly fan of that in the most Brooklyn way ever.
A video from a fan in the audience caught the entire exchange as Kim stood above the crowd to address the item thrown at her onstage.
“I can get on some bulls**t,” she said. “I don’t know what that was that came up here, but y’all know I’ll still crack a n***a motherf**king s**t! I don’t know who the f**k threw that s**t, but I bet it won’t come out here again.” If it did, she'd cancel the remainder of the show, Kim concluded.
Need anyone else be reminded, she’s had her fair share of savage moments dating way back to her Biggie days. Kim recently shared her confirmation on a story, as told by Jermaine Dupri, where the late hip-hop legend pulled a gun out on her during a disagreement. She further shared that they had other volatile moments during the course of their relationship. Thankfully, Kimmy seems to be in a much healthier place now.
See how she can still take it back to the big BK in the video below though.
