In spite of having an overwhelmingly successful breakout year, Cardi B is still very much a "regular, degular shmegular girl" from the Bronx.
Whether it's her ingenuity when it comes to styling her hair or her all-too-familiar fear of her mother scolding her for the raunchy lyrics found in her music, Cardi is just like the rest of us.
Ahead of the release of the femcee's newest collaboration, "Kamasutra," Cardi took to Twitter early Friday morning (Dec. 1) to tease the fresh new single. The provocative track, which features hip-hop vet Juicy J, finds the former reality star drawing inspiration from one of her infamous Instagram videos.
On the hook, the Grammy-nominated artist boasts about her hyper sex drive ― lyrics that the rapper says would make her mother cringe. "This is a song my momma can't hear," the Bronx loyalist tweeted along with a series of emojis.
"She will beat my a**," she added. And one can only imagine how hilarious the sight of Cardi still being punished, even as a record-breaking superstar, just might be.

Cardi's latest collab follows previous contributions to tracks from Migos, G-Eazy and D.R.A.M. The track also arrives the same week the "trap Selena" received multiple Grammy nominations for her breakout hit, "Bodak Yellow."
