Fans Are Dragging Kodak Black Back To The Projects After He Shamelessly Took A Shot At Jay-Z

Wait, what?

Published December 13th

Someway, somehow, Florida’s Project Baby Kodak Black compared himself to New York’s rap mogul Jay-Z — and in a way that doesn’t quite make the most sense.

Taking to Instagram, the 20-year-old posted a meme titiled “Rap in the ‘90s vs. Rap now.” Beneath a photo of Jay is the catchy chorus of his 1998 hit “Money, Cash, H**s” with fellow New York hip-hop legend DMX and beneath a photo of Kodak is the hook from his 2016 track “Can I.”

“Real S**t B Goin” he wrote in the caption. “None Of Dat Hopscotch S**t.”

Whatever that means, the first issue fans spotted was that Kodak compared a hook to a chorus. And considering that Jay’s discography is fat with platinum bodies of work, including both club bangers and more lyrically driven hit records, the comparison is selectively biased, without a doubt.

However, fans refuse to allow any Kodak and Jay correlation on any level and their promptly letting him know about it.

See Kodak’s comparative meme and all they had to say about it below.
