Fans caught the whole debacle on camera, too.

The annual Yams Day was supposed to be a peaceful concert dedicated to the life and memory of A$AP Mob’s beloved member A$AP Yams. But, unfortunately, this year’s tribute show on Jan. 18 was plagued by bad energy and vicious brawls. The concert reportedly ended early after a fight broke out in the crowd. Some of the mayhem was captured on camera. But shortly after the incident, many were led to believe that one rapper was killed in the crossfire.

Based on a number of videos and accounts taken at the scene, A$AP Rocky was in the middle of his headlining set when the brawl took place. In one video, the DJ is overheard telling Rocky to cut his set because of some commotion in the back of the venue. There’s also footage showing two people shoving each other while security tries to get a hold on the situation. It also seems as though tear gas was thrown in order to force an immediate evacuation.

Shortly after the chaos died down, rumors began swirling on Twitter suggesting that rapper 6ix9ine was fatally shot or stabbed. Some alleged that New York artist Casanova was reportedly responsible for shooting 6ix, although NYPD denied any report of gunshots.

6ix9ine later hopped on Instagram Live that night, where he confirmed that he was alive and well and that he was not the culprit behind the brawl. NYPD reportedly investigated the scene at the time and it seems though no one has died or was injured.
