Justin Timberlake’s been having to walk a tightrope over his forthcoming Super Bowl performance.
With news that a Prince hologram could be joining the pop star on-stage during the biggest game of the year’s halftime, many are wary of what this is all going to look like.
If you remember also, the last time JT graced the Super Bowl halftime stage was with Janet Jackson in 2004, producing the infamous wardrobe malfunction.
Now, Janet’s family has some requests of Timberlake.
"If he’s such a gentleman, he’d make sure Janet [Jackson] is there," Joe Jackson, Janet’s father, said to the New York Post.
Another family member, who was unnamed, agrees. "He says they are good, but let’s see him prove it and bring her out."
JT himself told Zane Lowe of Beats 1 Radio that he knows what to expect for this evening.
"It's just one of those things," he said. "Where you go, 'what do you want me to say, we not going to do that again.'
"It’s just something that you have to look back on and go like, 'OK, well you know, you can’t change what’s happened but you can move forward and learn from it,'" he continued.
What do you think? Should JT extend an invitation to Janet Jackson to join him for the Super Bowl? Let us know in the comment section below.
