Hip-Hop Declares #FreeMeekMill Following The Super Bowl

The Eagles epic victory proved to be a rallying cry for the Philly rap star.

Over the past few months, Meek Mill's legal woes have continued to be a hot button issue within the rap community. In the time since he was sentenced to prison, however, the support for the MMG signee has fiercely continued with Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 4) setting the stage for perhaps the largest rallying cry for Meek's freedom.  

Ahead of the highly-anticipated game, the Philadelphia Eagles stormed into the U.S. Bank Stadium as Meek's breakout single "Dreams & Nightmares (Intro)" played overhead. The electrifying moment has since been described as what led the underdog team to reign victorious over the well-seasoned New England Patriots.
