Beyonce Is Revamping Everyone's Childhood With Just One Song...
Is there anything that Houston’s worldwide entertainment icon Beyoncé can’t do?
Well...yes. But one of those things does not include adding even more purpose to the token moments of your childhood, which she’s doing with her dangerously-anticipated The Lion King remake role.
Bey is adding at least one more sing-a-long moment to the classic Disney film’s musical soundtrack with an original track.
According to The Sun UK, she’s joined forces with Elton John, composer of the 1994 The Lion King soundtrack that boasts Disney fan favorites like “Hakuna Matata,” “I Just Can’t Wait To Be Kind” and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” In addition to these three, and Bey’s additional track, “Circle of Life” will be one of the four throwback classics featured in the film’s official remake rolling out in July 2019.
Details of the song are still tightly under wraps. But thanks to John's statment to The Sun, we know that the Lemonade artist will be serenading us with a ballad that will reportedly close out the movie.
*sighs satisfyingly in '90s nostalgia*
