The Internet Is Dragging This Singer For Her Thoughts On Blue Ivy's Epic Grammys Moment

"She took that way too seriously..."

Published February 20, 2018

Blue Ivy stole the show at the 2018 Grammys in January without uttering a single word—and hilariously instructing her megastar parents, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, not to either.

It just so happens that Blue shushed her parents at an interesting time for former Fifth Harmony member and now solo songstress Camila Cabello, as she took the stage to share a commemorative speech for America’s Dreamers. The moment-turned-meme quickly took the internet by storm with several questions raised as to what caused the heiress of the Carter family to cease Hov and Bey’s applause for Cabello’s speech. Many of those questions made it to the “Havanna” singer’s BBC Radio 1 interview on Monday (February 19) as well.

“What do you think that means?” she said of the uninterpretable moment. “I had a moment of insecurity—I surprised myself.”

Cabello added that the curiosity racked her brain so much that she had to prevent herself from going into a “wormhole” over it.

“Do you think that she didn’t like my speech or, like, what do you think?” she recalls of her thoughts during that time. “I literally stopped, I was like, ‘You know what? I’m not going to think about that.’”

Unfortunately, the internet believes she’s already put too much thought into the actions of 6-year-old Blue from her comments on the radio show, however.

See their advice to Cabello after her reaction to Blue's front-row Grammys moment below.
