There aren’t too many ways to earn a lifetime ban from hip-hop, but Lil Xan, SoundCloud rapper and former prescription drug addict (the inspiration behind his rap moniker), managed to figure out one of them by taking a shot at West Coast hip-hop legend and worldwide rap icon, Tupac.
In a Revolt TV interview, Xan was tasked with rating rappers according to his taste. When Pac’s name popped up, the 21-year-old ranked him with a measly two. Why, might you ask? Because of his “boring music.”
His lack of respect for one of hip-hop’s most groundbreaking and revolutionary rap icons brought Atlanta rap star Waka Flocka out of the cut, who slammed the official ban on Xan. T.I., an avid super fan of Pac’s and Waka’s fellow ATLien, seconded his sentiments.
But the internet is having a hard time picking sides on this one.
