They're calling the officers out for excessive force.

Cash Money Records singer Jacquees found himself in a bit of a bind on Wednesday (March 21) while in Miami’s South Beach that ended up in a hot debate on the internet regarding police use of excessive force.

According to TMZ, the “B.E.D.” artist was stopped by Miami Beach police for driving without a seatbelt. Officers claim that he refused to show his license during the traffic stop, causing the officer to ask him to get out of his Lamborghini. The site adds that the officers said he refused to walk with the officer along the sidewalk and yelled at them, “Do not touch me.”

One thing led to another, and the officer reportedly called for backup as piles of young, South Beach-vacationing bystanders gathered to witness the encounter. Judging by their verbal reactions to the events that took place next, they seemed just as bothered as the rest of the internet by the way the officers handled Jacquees afterward, which was filmed by someone standing nearby.

  1. In the video, officers violently yank Jacquees by his arms while his hands are in handcuffs, causing him to nearly stumble to the ground
  2. He didn't have the silver bracelets on for too long, apparently, as photos of a undetained, jetskiing Jacquees made its way to Instagram shortly after…

  3. The internet still has a problem with the officers’ excessive force, and they held nothing back in calling them for it even after Jacquees’ release
