No one may have ever guessed that rap star YFN Lucci and Growing Up Hip-Hop starlet Reginae Carter would emerge as one of Atlanta’s hottest new “it” couples of 2018.

But judging by old tweets from the “Everyday We Lit” artist, their budding love thing might have already been written in the stars—of the Twitterverse, that is.

Fans reached back about four to five years ago and discovered some old, pre-fame tweets from Lucci regarding his admiration for Reginae’s legendary hip-hop father, Lil Wayne, as it ironically connects to her interest in his own music.

“Sh** crazy how I grew up listening to Wayne and now his daughter be listening to me,” he wrote in a tweet from 2015.

He apparently also felt connected to the Wayne Carter family on a personal level as well, posting an even earlier tweet from 2014 that someday he wants him and his young daughter “to be like wayne and nae.”

Lucci and Nae Nae fans have already addressed the elephant in the room upon the initial dating rumors: their eight-year age difference. Fans even called upon Weezy for his thoughts on his 19-year-old daughter dating the 27-year-old father of one.

Wayne hasn’t yet, and likely will keep his position where he’s kept most of his personal business lately—in the family. Besides, folks could have discovered much worse in their internet-digging sprees as of late.
