Tamar Braxton Went Off On Live TV After This Comedian Accused Her Of Lip-Syncing

It's all in good fun, though.

Actor-comedian Deray Davis found himself on "Love & War" songstress Tamar Braxton’s war side when the two appeared among other industry luminaries for VH1’s Hip Hop Squares.

He learned a valuable and hilarious lesson that evening: don’t test Tamar’s vocal gift nor her gangster.

On the episode, Davis jokingly took a shot at Tamar after she asked for a self-introduction before the show kicked off.

“Ay, Tamar, are you gonna say it or lip-sync it?” he asked before a roaring response from the crowd.

The youngest Braxton sister didn’t catch the shade the first time, but when New York rapper Lil Mama repeated it for her, Tamar rose from her seat to exit her hip-hop square. Apparently, she wanted to see if he was going to repeat that one to her face.

“Oh, hold the f**k up, what we not getting ready to do…” she said while making her way down to Davis despite Terrence J’s attempts to hold her back. Tamar had some backup, too, as Lil Mama stood behind her to reassure that she “got her back” during the confrontation with Davis.

He hilariously copped a plea, backpedaling the statement and accusing the “Lip Gloss” rapper of stirring up drama. Judging by Tamar’s face, she wasn’t buying any of it, but she definitely got that self-introduction she’d been asking for.

The shenanigans between Davis and Tamar was all for kicks and giggles, but what a way to kick off the episode, wouldn’t you say?

See how Davis almost got chin-checked by the “The One” singer below.
