R. Kelly’s Daughter Speaks Out For The First Time On Her Father’s Sex Cult Allegations

This must be difficult for her.

Many people have stepped forth to speak on R. Kelly’s sex cult allegations that sprung up in summer 2017, including the Pied Piper himself.

However, there’s no voice quite as significant as his daughter Joann Kelly (a.k.a. Buku) who said that

TMZ caught up with Kelly’s only child to discuss the heinous controversy, but Buku remained tight-lipped on the matter.

“Honestly, I don't have much of a comment,” she said. “It’s very close to my heart. It’s just hard because it’s family matters.”

Understandably, the situation has been challenging to deal with, so she admitted that she’s trying to keep quiet. It isn’t clear whether her silence is necessarily in favor of her father or not, as she responded that “we’re family” and that they’ll “deal with each other” when asked whether her and her R&B male icon father are close.

It must be a sigh of relief for him to know that at least one person isn’t completely dropping off from his side after reports surfaced that Kelly’s lawyer, publicist and assistant quit his team just last week. As it would appear from the video below, young Buku has not.
