Here's Why The Internet Is Kicking Down Nicki Minaj’s Door After Meek Mill’s Jail Release

The entertainment world welcomed Philly hip-hop star Meek Mill home with open arms on Tuesday (April 24) when he was finally released from jail after five months and amid a strenuous legal battle.
But while fans have been awaiting the MMG rapper’s homecoming, there’s apparently something else they’ve been gunning for: a reunion with Meek’s former girlfriend and Young Money’s femcee icon, Nicki Minaj. Nestled between the #MeekFree, #MeekHome and other rejoicing hashtags are a few fans inquiring about Nicki’s feelings amid his return. While The Pinkprint artist has made a highly anticipated return of her own to social media after a four-month hiatus, she hasn’t spoken to Meek’s legal situation aside from minimal comments on a recent Beats 1 interview.
“I can’t badmouth [Brinkley] because I met her personally,” she said to Zane Lowe. “I know what she said to us, [Meek] knows that and I know that. But I wouldn’t wish jail on anybody."
Thus, there’s no bad blood to be spotted between the former love birds. But according to some fans, including Love & Hip Hop Star Masika Kalysha, that is means for a flame rekindling now that Meek is a free man, while others are throwing a flag on any further Nicki-Meek play.
