These days, Bow Wow is coming heavy with the receipts to combat those #BowWowChallenge accusations, and his next one has to do with a supposed rap collaboration with Queens-bred rap icon, Nas, from seven years ago.
Randomly, Mr. Shad Moss felt compelled to share the 2011 conversation between himself and Nas via Twitter. According to their 2011 DM conversation, Bow had nudged the Illmatic emcee about a possible feature.
“Big home I want u on my album what I gotta do,” he wrote to him. “Boweezy.”
Apparently, Nas was on-board for it, and asked Bow to send over a contact to reach him for the collabo. The track never saw the light of day though, and Bow’s caption explained his feelings toward the plan falling through.
“Seven year ago…just looking through my old messages,” he captioned the screenshot. “I really wanted this to happen. #NAS damn.. (things I work on and who Im good with you might never know.”
Bow concluded that he still wishes to hop on a record with Escobar someday, and his prayers are still high for the possibility though the 2011 ask never came to fruition.
Hopefully, his wishes are granted one of these days.
