That Time Tupac Brought A Bag Full Of Weed To 'Saturday Night Live'....

And guess who he brought on his arm...

If there’s nothing else to remember West Coast hip-hop legend and world-renowned rap prophet Tupac for, remember him for his devout, undying loyalty and love for those he called family or a friend.

Snoop Dogg would know, as told by a hilarious story he shared about Pac making an emergency run to him on Saturday Night Live to deliver Snoop’s favorite gift from mother nature: marijuana.

He had been in New York for a performance on the historic primetime silver screen show at the time, Snoop recalls on The Howard Stern Show. Pac hadn’t yet signed to Death Row either, but had hit it off in the big screen circle, as Snoop said the exchange was after they’d met at the Poetic Justice rap party.

This was also around a time where marijuana was pretty taboo in the Big Apple territory, so finding some proved to be a difficult task. Not for Pac though, who Snoop said slid through with the quickness.

“He was like, ‘Don’t worry about a motherf**king thing, n**ga! I’m coming to SNL, I’ll be there in a minute.’”

The “California Love” emcee held true to his promise and not only pulled up with the smoke, but with his then-fling Madonna on his arm as well.

“He tells her, ‘Have a seat,’” Snoop continued. “She looks at me, I look at her, I say, ‘Oh, wow! That’s Madonna!’”

Pac was probably just flexing his Hollywood elitist muscle by tagging her along for the ride, but Snoop appreciated that he took time out of his intimate schedule with the famed pop singer to help him out anyway. He added that he kept that secret in for a long time (which he certainly doesn’t need to anymore now that the Madonna-Makaveli cat is out of the bag.)
