The Internet Is Grabbing Fire Extinguishers After This Rapper Just Took Shots At Drake And Birdman

The Kanye West-produced track is blazing the internet.

Before the official arrival of GOOD Music emcee Pusha T’s third studio album on Friday (May 25), the project had already started to ladder up controversy from some peculiar song titles and uncanny album artwork insisted upon by his label home leader, Kanye West.

One of the most contentious eyebrow-raisers was his “Infrared” track, where Pusha sent salutes to a handful of hip-hop stars, including J. Cole, Nas and Kendrick Lamar, and sent shots to others, like Birdman and Drake.

Within the very first few bars, King Push resurfaced his tension with Drizzy by calling up those ghostwriting rumors involving the rumored penman himself, Quentin Miller.

“The game's f**ked up,” Pusha spits. “N**gas beats is bangin’, n**ga, your hooks did it/ The lyric pennin' equal the Trumps winnin'/ The bigger question is how the Russians did it/ It was written like Nas, but it came from Quentin.”

Later on down the bars, the former Clipse member shouts out MMG boss Rick Ross for his earful regarding what he believes is Birdman’s mistreatment of Lil Wayne amid their longstanding (now potentially resolved) beef. On "Infrared," Pusha seconds Rozay's stance.

“Salute Ross 'cause the message was pure,” he raps. “He see what I see when you see Wayne on tour/ Flash without the fire/ Another multi-platinum rapper trapped and can’t retire.”

  1. The GOOD Music president held nothing back on the Yeezy-produced banger, especially considering that he's not the first to address the Cash Money flagbearers...
  2. And the internet is blowing off flames from King Push’s fiery lyrics as a result...
