Janet Jackson Is Dragging This Airline's CEO After This Grossly Sexist Comment

"This is degradation and devaluation of women!"

After using her Billboard Music Awards platform to share her support of “Time’s Up” and “Me Too” movements, music and entertainment industry mogul Janet Jackson is now lending her voice to bring justice to another cause: sexism.

And what better person to demonstrate the main issue with such a layered topic than an airline executive of Qatar Airways, who made a narrow-minded remark about women leading CEO positions such as his.

During a press conference, the Persian Gulf-native airline exec answered a question about his powerful position with the sexist commentary, claiming that a man must occupy such a role due to its complex nature.

“Of course, it has to be led by a man because it is a very challenging position,” he said before a roar of gasps and audible disgust erupts from the crowd.

Another airline chief cut him off, explaining that he has a proclivity for controversy. However, the Qatar Airways CEO continued, claiming that he likes to put “fireworks” out there, such as the provocative statement, to incite more questions.

Much like the crowd, the Queen of Pop didn’t like what she heard at all, and called out his detestable actions via Instagram.

“Bull…” she wrote. “This is degradation and devaluation of women!”

Judging by the reactions from the statement, Janet joins many others in her repulsion of the remark, which one might assume would prompt a statement from the ‘90s-founded airline. So far, no one has acknowledged the touchy commentary the airline leader used his press conference stage to boast, but we’re glad to know (on the contrary) that Janet chose to use her platform for good instead.
