As promised, Kanye West is rolling out those albums that he promised us back in April, including the heavily anticipated projects of his G.O.O.D. Music top tiers Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor, and of course, his own eight studio undertaking, undertaking, ye.
In a pleasingly shocking one-off wonder, he also announced that he’d be working the executive producer musical mechanics behind another hip-hop artist who hasn’t released a studio body of work from the vault in six years: Nas. On Wednesday (June 12), fans became one step closer to learning what they can expect from Escobar’s 11th studio album, thanks to Yeezy’s latest tweet.
In a photo of the tracklist, drawn via a white-board rough draft, Kanye wrote out all seven songs that will grace Nas’ project. All of the titles seemingly offer themselves to layered topics in the not-yet-heard tracks, but standouts include singles like “Not For Radio,” “Adam and Eve” and “I Can Explain.” Nas has yet to address the unofficial tracklist, but judging by Kanye’s similar roll-out routine with his own track list and the Cudi-collaborative Kids See Ghost album, we trust that it’s the real thing.
So does the rest of Escobar’s fans, and they’re blowing a full gasket over Ye’s latest revelatory tweet below.
