Jay-Z Just Made A Statement About XXXTentacion That Deserves A Round Of Applause

Oh, and a few words for you, too, Trump...

Aside from all the other bombs Drake dropped on his newly-unleashed Scorpion album, another pleasant surprise came along with the 11th track of Side A: a Jay-Z feature.

The Brooklyn-bred hip-hop and business industry maven is currently busy on a world tour with his mega-talent triple-entertainment threat wife Beyoncé. But judging by his verse on Drizzy’s “Talk Up,” world news certainly isn’t lost upon him, especially as it relates to some of the latest major controversies: the notorious murder of Miami rapper XXXTentacion and more gibberish from White House occupant, Donald Trump.

Hov leans into the verse with hip-hop OG braggadocio, flexing in his hip-hop billionaire and hood legend glory with flooded out Rolexs and dope boy transcendence. But as a street-born hustler, he can’t seem to wrap his mind around the shooters who took the life of X when George Zimmerman, the shamed gun-toting vigilante who killed innocent 17-year-old Black teenager Trayvon Martin, is still walking around his Florida hometown scot-free.

And as for those desperate attempts for Hov’s attention, sorry Trump—The Carter still won’t be coming back to the White House as long as you’re in office.

See how fans feel about all of this and Mr. Carter’s most poignant “Talk Up” bars below.
