Tekashi 6ix9ine is finally speaking out about being assaulted and robbed.

The Brooklyn rapper was reportedly met by two Black men after a late-night video shoot. The details of what happened are currently being disputed, but Tekashi issued an Instagram post with some inspiration from XXXTentacion, his friend who was recently shot and killed in South Florida.

“As crazy as it sounds.. yesterday morning I had a feeling that it was my day to die,” he wrote under a caption of XXX. “May GOD strike me dead if I’m lying. Everything happens for a reason I know you was there Nothing materialistic is more important then LIFE. I live to see another DAY 🙏🏻 I get to see my daughter another day. No Hate Charge it to the streets.”

Since being assaulted, 6ix9ine has been uncooperative with police, who he initially reached out to after the violent incident.
