Before anyone gets too crazy with this Nicki Minaj versus Travis Scott sales face-off, the Queen rapstress wants to make one thing clear: there is no beef with his girlfriend and reality television star, Kylie Jenner. Yes, even despite Kylie’s very swift, very visible decision to duck the Young Money rapper on the 2018 MTV VMAs red carpet.
Nicki confirmed so on Thursday’s (August 23) Queen Radio segment after several publications accused her of attacking not only the youngest KarJenner sister, but her and Travy’s infant daughter, Stormi Webster, as well.
“And that’s not gonna change. She has been put in an awkward situation.”
Nicki pointed out that her Barbs are all Kylie fans as well. Not to mention, the leader of the reality TV family clan, Kim Kardashian, dropped in on the radio show for its debut episode. In other words, Nicki made it clear that she’d have more class than to shade the whole family over her distaste for just one of their significant others.
After all, Nicki said, “she’s supported her man as she should. So my fans and I are not feeding into this. We love Kylie.” She then went on to salute Kylie's brother-in-law Kanye West, who she credited as a hip-hop and fashion trailblazer.
No Kylie-Barbie beef this way, folks! Listen to her address the red carpet exchange (or lack thereof) below.
