ICYMI: The Blast is reporting that George Zimmerman—yes, the same person acquitted in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin—allegedly made threats to both Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s lives during the filming of “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.”
WTH? Our thoughts, exactly.
According to The Blast, the messages were sent after Dennis Warren, a private investigator contacted, Zimmerman to participate in the series.
In a series of text messages obtained by news source, which will appear in the upcoming finale of the six-part documentary series, Zimmerman called Beyoncé a “broke whore” which we all know is not at all true, and promised that the power couple would “find themselves inside a 13 foot gator.”
For those of you that may not know, Jay-Z is a co-executive producer on the docu-series which will air its final episode Monday at 10:00 PM ET on the Paramount Network.
