Just when fans thought a beacon of hope for “the old” Kanye West was peaking through, the Chicago emcee snatched it right out of their hands in just three tweets on Wednesday (September 26).
Posting a FaceTime screenshot with shamed A$AP mobster A$AP Bari, ‘Ye tweeted a regretful ode to the Harlem rapper regarding his sexual assault controversy of July 2017. Kanye heralded Bari for many transformative events in his life lately, such as helping him nab the No. 1 record in the world and breaking him out of his “pretentious rich n**ga shell.”
The “I Love It” rapper’s sentiments on Bari’s disturbing sexual assault case, however, is breaking the hearts of fans internet-wide, who are struggling to hang onto their last straw for Chicago’s estranged rap and fashion icon.
“There’s no way I would have the number 1 record in the world without this man here,” Yeezy bowed in his first tweet to Bari.
Or, “when he got in trouble,” as Kanye put it. For that, he scorned himself for the disloyalty and distancing himself from Bari amid the controversy “just like [he] did with [XXXTentacion] and that was some p**sy sh** on [his] part.”
According to Kanye, he allowed “robots” and others’ perception of the situation to guide his judgment of his A$AP Mob friend, which is “the true sunken place” he described.
Shaming the internet’s “cancel culture” while he was at it.
Yeezy fans are dropping their heads and their tears yet again in dismay at Ye’s new change of heart.
