Offset Deserves A Standing Ovation After This Fan Mocked Him For Not Being Able To Vote

Say it louder for the voters in the back, Offset!

Published November 6, 2018

Offset of Atlanta’s Migos trap trio is campaigning beside Georgia’s Democratic nominee Stacey Abrams for Governor on Tuesday’s (November 6) Election Day.

Mr. Cephus urged his global fanbase and 9 million Instagram followers to show up to the polls and vote Abrams into office, joining the likes of OprahCommonTracee Ellis Ross and more Hollywood faces rallying behind her.

Unfortunately, he can’t vote himself due to his status as a formerly convicted felon. But that doesn’t mean the 26-year-old won’t round up his fellow millennials to push the culture forward with their voices in the political circle, which he reminded one Negative Nancy in his comments section.

  1. Offset endorsed Abrams on Monday, fresh on the timelines of voting millennials taking the polls this week

“GO VOTE NOW,” he wrote. “Please vote tomorrow Tuesday, November 6 for Stacey Abrams.” Complete with a photo of himself repping the Dems, Offset is framed inside a blue, state of Georgia outline.

  2. One fan brought his negative energy to the post, reminding Offset that, ‘you can’t even vote my n**ga’…

And we must say, Offset’s response to the Instagrammer is one that needs to be heard ‘round the entire Instaverse. “BUT I CAN SEND THE MESSAGE,” he replied. “WHY BE NEGATIVE WITH SUCH A IMPORTANT SUBJECT THIS IS FOR MY COMMUNITY IF I COULD I WOULD VOTE GOTTA [BE IN TUNE] WITH SOCIETY.”

Say it louder for the haters in the back, Set!

And seconding his initial sentiments: Go. Vote!
