Biggie's Mother Pens A Loving Sentiment To Diddy In Light Of Kim Porter's Passing

Beloved industry muse Kim Porter tragically passed away on Thursday (Nov. 15) at the tender age of 47. The news of the runway icon and mother broke the hearts of all who knew her. An outpouring of love and sympathy flooded social media. Initial reports are stating her cause of death is linked to complications with pneumonia, yet the family hasn't made an official statement aside from confirming the devastating news. 

Among those reflecting on Kim's indelible life, the father of her eldest child, Al B Sure!, issued a touching sentiment on his "forever lady" and Voletta Wallace, mother of the late iconic rapper Notorious B.I.G. penned a loving word to Diddy and their children. "We as a people often take life for granted, thinking those we love will always be there but that's a misguided reality," she began. She continued to mention the importance of looking at those we love and being thankful "for the experience of the loving moments we share with one another in our lifetimes."

  1. Addressing Diddy with a broken heart, she said, "I pray that God gives Sean the strength to heal and pull the family together..."

    Knowing how close the Combs family is, she knows their "grieving hearts" will be comforted. Ms. Wallace referred to the late actress as "a beautiful loving soul." She closed her heartfelt words with scripture, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
